For Students Who Live Beyond 60 Miles from Sinclair's Dayton Campus

Step 1: Contact a SinclairOnline Academic Coach if you have Advanced Placement credit or transcripts from a college or university you previously attended. Call 937-512-2990 or email email@example.com.
Step 2: Locate a proctor (exam supervisor). See the Proctor Information and Procedures page and follow the steps for locating a proctor to administer the test.
Step 3: Complete the Proctor Agreement Form. Notification of approval or denial will be emailed to your my.sinclair email account.
Step 4: Schedule an appointment with your proctor. Placement test instructions will be emailed to your my.sinclair email account.
Step 5: Take a practice placement test. See the "Practice Resources" section below for links to practice tests and websites with review materials.
Step 6: Take the test with your proctor. Provide a valid photo ID and a copy of the ID to give to the proctor. Results will be provided upon completion of the test and may be printed. It may take up to 24 hours for the results to be uploaded into Sinclair’s system.

Step 8: Discuss your test results with a SinclairOnline Academic Coach.
