Flint, MI - Sinclair earned their 3rd victory on the season after beating host Mott (MI) 86-62. The teams traded baskets early in the first half with Sinclair holding a slim 10-8 advantage at the 14:00 mark of the first half. The Lady Tartans went on a quick 9-0 run to go up 19-8 at the 12:00 mark but Mott fought back throughout the half and Sinclair held a 35-28 lead at halftime.

The 2nd half started with more of the same with Sinclair having a 60-50 lead at the 10:00 mark. The Lady Tartans then picked up the full court defense and went on a 26-12 run the rest of the game and went a perfect 11 of 11 from the foul line in the 2nd half to earn the 86-62 win.
Leading the way for Sinclair were Emily Frey (FR/Versailles) with 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists, Jessica Pierre (SO/Tipp City) with 19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 3 steals and Chelcie Gullett (SO/Xenia) with 19 points.

Also contributing were Jessica Plummer (FR/Tipp City) with 6 points and 5 assists, Shannon Campbell (FR/Miamisburg) with 6 points, Haleigh Hickenbottom (FR/West Liberty Salem) with 5 points, Jana Gross (SO/Bellbrook) with 4 points, Rachel Brun (FR/Chaminade Julienne) with 4 points, Karen Smith (FR/Versailles) with 2 points and 5 assists, and Shelby Pettit (FR/Brookville) with 2 points.

The Lady Tartans are 3-0 on the season. They return to action on Wed., Nov. 18 when they host Miami-University Middletown at 5:30 in the PAC.
