Tiffin took an early lead with a sacrifice fly off starter Matt Kruzel in the first inning, but that's all they would get. Kruzel blanked the Dragons for the next three innings before turning the ball over to the bullpen. The combination of Ryan Carter, Ian Creager and Jon Thacker finished the game without allowing a single run. The Pride offense scored the tying run in the 3rd with an RBI single from Freshmen Taylor Neal that scored Matt Sullivan. Four more runs would be scored in the 4th inning highlighted by a Sullivan triple and a Blake Hall double.
