Sinclair Employees Give Back to Students
First annual campaign in over three years raises scholarship dollars for students

Dayton, OH- Sinclair employees generously supported the return of the Sinclair Foundation's Annual Fund as part of the Foundation's "$40 for the Fortieth" campaign. The annual fund, returning after a three year hiatus, recognizes the Sinclair Foundation's fortieth anniversary.

Nearly 32 percent of employees donated to the campaign, which raised 260 percent more dollars than the last annual campaign.

"The Sinclair family is dedicated to the mission of the college helping students turn dreams into achievable goals through education," said Tom Raga, vice president of the Advancement Division at Sinclair. "The funds raised will go directly to support students, and in these economic times, more students need help paying for their education."

Raga noted that the total employee participation percentage was larger than the Foundation's Changing Lives Capital Campaign in 2003-05.

The Sinclair Foundation was established in 1969 to provide funding for students and college needs not otherwise covered by tuition and tax revenues. In 2009, the Foundation celebrates its 40 th anniversary.
