Sinclair (2-0/0-0) Women’s Basketball wins against Cedarville University JV (1-3/0-0) 72-59

Dayton, OH – Sinclair Women’s Basketball team hosted the Cedarville University’s JV team this evening in a non-conference contest. 

Coming off an impressive 30 point win on Saturday against Rio Grande’s JV team, the Lady Pride opened up a double figure lead that Cedarville could never overcome. Cedarville stayed within striking distance converting 26 of 37 Free Throws (70.3%) on the night only to fall short losing by 13. 

Once again, all 10 Sinclair players that dressed saw time with 8 in double figure in minutes played. Emily Frey (6-0/Versailles H.S.) lead the Lady Pride in scoring for the second straight game posting a team high 16 points and 7 rebounds, Sophomore Jessica Pierre (6-0/Tippecanoe H.S.) chipped in with 14 points and 7 rebounds. 

The Sinclair Women’s team will return to action at home on Wednesday the 18th of November (5:30pm) for non-conference match up with Miami University-Middletown
