Taylor Hoisington was 6-7 on the day with a SAC, 2B, 3B, GS, and seven RBIs.

In Game One, Sinclair scored seven runs in the first inning with two outs and never looked back. An eight spot in the first was capped by a Taylor Hoisington Grand Slam Taylor added three more hits and was 4-4 2B GS 5RBIs. The Pride would score 22 runs on 17 hits! Ryan Knisley picked up his first win of the season improving his career at Sinclair to 5-0.

Once the sun went down in Game Two things would get interesting (and cold). Trevor Oetting lasted just four innings leaving the game tied 4-4. The score would stay that way until the bottom of the fifth. Trace Fowler led off and reached base on an error by the 3rd basemen. On a hit-and-run, Ricky Masson doubled down the leftfield line scoring Fowler from first. John Lydic then singled in his 4th RBI of the game (3-4 2B 4 RBIs) to extend the lead to 6-4. After a successful bunt by Taylor Hoisington, Lydic would reach 3rd on a wild pitch. Clay Ragland then walked and the Henry Ford Pitcher tried to pick off Lydic but threw the ball away. Sinclair added four more in the bottom of the sixth. Hoisington would add to his career day with a 3B scoring two more. Taking a 11-4 lead into the top of the seventh Sinclair would need to make a call to the bullpen.  Erik Lamka came into the game in the fifth and cruised through two innings. The seventh started with a error and then snowballed. After walking in a runner with bases loaded Lamka was lifted for another freshmen arm in Jordan Russell.  With no outs and bases loaded Russell threw a double-play ball to short that wasn't turned because of an error. Russell then would strike-out the next two hitters with the tying run at the plate both times. Final score 11-9. Lamka picked up his first collegiate win and Russell his first save.

The Pride will travel to Keyser West Virginia this weekend to take on one of the best junior college baseball programs in the country Potomac State. Kyle Hopwood will get the ball game one on Saturday.
