Dayton, OH - Jeff Price (Men's Basketball Coach) announced that Sinclair Community College has signed DeAnte Johnson (6-7/Cincinnati Sycamore H.S.) to a National Letter of Intent.
DeAnte will bring size and strength to a front court that includes: Kenny Knight (6-7/Cincinnati Aiken H.S.), Darrien Wilkins (6-5/Cincinnati Princeton), Austen Alabata (6-8/Toledo Scott H.S.), Trent Maddox (6-4/Gallatin Co KY H.S.) and Jonathan Bibbs (6-4/Chaminade Julienne H.S.). Utilizing his size and strength, the 6-7 265 pound Johnson is expected to play Center for the Pride. “Today we added a very strong player that has both great hands and footwork around the basket. We feel DeAnte fits well into our system and are extremely excited about DeAnte joining our program,” Said Coach Price.
DeAnte will join a Sinclair Men's Basketball team coming off three consecutive 20 win seasons as well as being ranked simultaneously in the top 20 of the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) polls.
