Pride Hangs On For Win Over Cedarville


Dayton, OH – Sinclair Men's Tartan Pride basketball team struggled in the first half against Cedarville University JV and found themselves down by two at halftime. Sinclair shot just 30 percent from the field in the opening half.

The Pride would come back in the second half and outscore Cedarville by 17 and go on to win 83-68. The Pride struggled from the three point line making just 1 of 17.

Gavin Schumann (Freshmen from Roger Bacon H.S.) lead Sinclair with 23 points. Jabriel Coaston (Freshmen from Roger Bacon H.S.) had 22 and another freshmen, Charlie Byers (Moeller H.S.) added 15. The Pride are now 3-2 overall.

Sinclair's next home game will be on Monday, November 28, as they take on Urbana University, JV.

Game time on Monday will be 7:00 PM at the down town campus.
