Holidays and Holy Days

Holidays and Holy Days is a new series of events offered by the Office of Campus Ministry: A Multi-faith Center for Spiritual Life. Throughout the year, there will be opportunities to stop by a table in the second floor of the libray (between the library and the Tartan Marketplace) to pick up information about a variety of holidays and holy days celebrated and observed by religious tradition, spiritual practices and secular institutions.

Monday, September 17 (11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.): A celebration of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and information about the Days of Awe/High Holy Days that follow. Come for traditional apple snacks!

Friday, September 21 (11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.): An observance of International Peace Day, established by the United Nations. Come help create a rainbow of hope for peace in our world!
