Campbell Named OCCAC Player of the Week
Sinclair Community College freshman forward Shannon Campbell has been named the OCCAC women's basketball player of the week for the week ending February 5, 2010. Campbell scored 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in her only game last week. She also had three assists and six steals in the game. She shot 50 percent (7 of 14) from the floor and two for two from the three point arc. Shannon also shot 83.3 (5 of 6) from the free throw line.
"Shannon has stepped up for our team big time in the face of some key injuries. Her contributions offensively and defensively have been huge.", said head coach Jeff Dillon. The OCCAC congratulates Shannon on the award.
