With rain expected all day, Sinclair & Parkland changed their doubleheader to a one-nine inning contest starting at 2. At exactly 2, the rain started and never stopped throughout the entire game. In a pitching dual, Zach Botjer battled Cobra's southpaw Richie Ollier and each would match the others shutout inning. In the top of the 6th that would change though when Botjer left the game with an arm injury. Jeremiah Kerns relieved Botjer and walked the lead-off hitter. The hitter advanced to second a passed ball and then moved to 3rd on a ground ball to the right side. A sacrifice fly to right scored the runner to give Parkland the first run of the game. In the top of the 7th, Parkland took advantage of a few defensive mistakes and plated four runs, capped off by a triple from their lead-off hitter Kiermaier. The Pride did not go down without a fight though scoring one in the 7th on two hits and knocking out Ollier. In the 8th Marrero & Robinson had two strike, two out singles that plated three more runs cutting the deficit to one run. The Cobra bullpen would hold on though in the 9th to give Parkland the win.
