Women's Hoops Down Edison

Dayton, OH: Sinclair Women’s Tartan Pride basketball team opened their home Ohio Community College Athletic Conference play tonight welcoming conference opponent Edison from nearby Piqua, Ohio.

The Lady Pride took a slim five point lead into halftime, 36-31 in part to a perfect 4 for 4 from the free throw line. 

In the second half the Pride took a commanding lead shooting 55 percent form the field and finishing the game with 11 of 12 from the charity stripe and a final score of 84-65 for Sinclair.

Freshmen India Taste (Trotwood-Madison) led The Lady Pride with 19 points. Sophomore Shannon Campbell (Miamisburg) and  Freshmen Katie Von Lehmden (Fort Jennings) both added 14.

Sinclair improves to 11-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play. The Lady Pride will return to home action on Wednesday, January 26 as they take on Cincinnati State in Sinclair’s Annual White Out Wednesday Game.

Game time is 5:30 PM in Sinclair's Physical Activities Center located in Building 8.
