Pride Falls in Regional

A tight game was decided in the seventh inning as Sinclair fell to Jackson 4-3 in game one of the regional tournament. The Pride took the early lead in the first but trailed 3-1 after the fifth inning. The offense pushed across a run in both the sixth and seventh innings, but failed to deliver the big blow when they had the chance. Jackson scored the game winner in the bottom of the seventh on a sacrifice fly to center.

The Pride lost 9-6 in game two, despite outhitting Glen Oaks 12 to nine. Curtis Wise got it done on the mound for Glen Oaks. He allowed four runs over eight innings, while striking out six. The Tartan offense made one final push in the ninth, but in the end fell short.
