The first annual Rock Enrollment at Courseview campus was a phenomenal hit! The perfect weather and enthusiastic student turn out contributed to the success of the event.
New students were provided one-on-one advising for orientation, registration, and financial aid. Tours were given to students and parents, which showed off the intimate class size and up-to-date technology of the Courseview campus.
Visitors had the chance to rock out to the Beatles version of Guitar Hero or play a few games of cornhole while listening to Beatles tunes played by Savoy Truffle, whiche includes band member Steve Langemo, an adjunct faculty member at Courseview. Recruiters and University Partners including Miami University, Wilmington College, University of Cincinnati, University of Dayton and Wright State University were also on hand enjoying free food, fun, and great music.
Courseview student, Nicholas Langenkamp, was the winner of a $500 fall quarter scholarship donated by Sinclair’s financial aid department. During the event Warren County Commissioner, David Young, presented a $54,600 scholarship check to Courseview Executive Dean George Sehi. All Warren County residents enrolled for six credit hours or more at the Courseview campus are eligible for the Warren County Commissioner’s Scholarship each quarter.
