Men's Basketball Drop One at Home

Dayton, OH – Both teams spend the first few minutes feeling each other out until the Pride started to inch into the lead with some easy transition baskets. The Pride took a 45-36 lead into half on the heels of some keys plays and timely rebounding.

Most of the second half was all Lakeland as the Pride committed 13 turnovers that lead to easy Laker points. The #12 ranked team in the nation pushed the lead out to as many as 10 before the Pride started its final comeback. Sinclair was able to close the lead down to 4 with under 2 minutes to go but missed free throws and more costly turnovers sealed the victory for Lakeland
Leading Sinclair with 18 points, Freshman Point Guard Charlie Byers (5-10/Cincinnati Moeller H.S.), Sophomore Forward Jonathan Bibbs (6-4/Chaminade Julienne H.S.) 17 points and 5 rebounds.

Sinclair will now go on the road Wednesday for an OCCAC match up against Cincinnati State.
