Dayton, OH – Sinclair (1-1/0-0) Men’s Basketball hosted NJCAA Division I Power Clinton Junior College (2-1/0-0) out of Rock Hill, South Carolina Saturday.

Early on, the Pride struggled with the speed and experience from the visitors.  Clinton push the lead out to as many as 15 in the first half only to see the Pride close the margin to 12 at half.

Coming out strong to start the second half, the Pride worked the lead down to 3 with about 8 minutes to play.  Again, experience played a key role as Clinton stayed off the Pride run and pushed the lead back up to double figures.

Leading the way for the Pride, Darrien Wilkins (6-5/Cincinnati Princeton H.S.) knocked in 20 points and 7 rebounds.

Saturday (11-13) at 4pm, Sinclair will host the #2 ranked team in the nation - Mott CC.  All home games are played on the downtown Dayton campus in Building 8.
