Dayton, OH – Riding an 11 game winning streak, Sinclair (14-4/3-1) lost a close home game to interstate rival Cincinnati State 77-82. Sinclair took a 42-38 lead in to half and pushed the lead up to as many as 8 in the second half before going cold from the field and getting caught with the turnover bug. Once visiting Cincinnati State gained the lead with 5 minutes to go, they made key shots and 10 straight free throws to ice the victory. Leading the way for Sinclair was Mark Anderson (6-7/SO – Dayton Dunbar H.S.) who scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Sinclair will return to action this Saturday at Lorain C.C. and will return home Wednesday the 4th for a conference tilt with Columbus State C.C.
