Men's Hoops Lose to WPAFB

Dayton, OH –  Sinclair’s Tartan Pride played their second of a four game home stand and going against a longtime competitor,  Wright Patterson Air Force Base at the Physical Activities Center on the campus of Sinclair College. The game has been an annual tradition between the two teams for the past several years

It almost wasn’t much of a game as Wright Patt came out strong to take a 21-11 in the first five minutes of play. Sinclair battled back and at the half, The Tartan Pride were down by only two 49-47.

Shooting just 22 percent from the three point line in the second half and committing 18 turnovers would end Sinclair’s hopes of a comeback and eventually losing 83-78.

Freshmen Jonathan Bibbs (Dayton, Chaminade Julienne H.S.) had a team high 18 points for The Pride and Chris Montgomery (Dayton, Meadowdale H.S) added 12.

Sinclair drops to 8-3 overall and will return to home action on Monday, December 20 as they take on former OCCAC school, Clark State from Springfield. Game time is 6:00 PM in Sinclair's Physical Activities Center located in Building 8.
