The Tartan Pride Men's Baseball Team has extended the winning streak to eight games!
The Pride improved to 11-1 on the year with two wins over Miami-Middletown (13-2, 13-8) today at Howell Field. Dylan Brandeburg started on the mound for the Tartan Pride and picked up his first win of the year.

Ryan West pitched game two for the Pride and cruised through the first three innings. In the 4th MUM would scored five runs to take a 5-4 lead. After a leadoff double in the top of the fifth, West exited to give the ball to Matt Kilburn. This was Kilburn first appearance of the year since recovering from a hamstring injury. Kilburn came in throwing ground balls but they found holes as MUM increased their lead to 8-4.
The score would stay like that until the bottom of the 6th when the Pride erupted. The Tartan offense scored nine runs in the inning on nine hits, two doubles and a Ricky Masson (pictured on left) 3-Run Bomb that put them ahead.

The Pride are off the rest of the week for exams and will be traveling to Gallatin, Tennessee on Friday to take on Volunteer State Community College. The Pride's eight game winning streak will be on the line Friday night in the series opener.
