Join Mr. Michael Carter, Senior Vice President, as he presents and discusses his extensive collection of Negro League memorabilia. The replica uniforms are made from the same materials and are the same colors as many of the more popular teams, as well as lesser known ones. Come and see Willie Mays' Chattanooga Choo Choos Jersey worn when he was 15 years old, as well as replicas of the Kansas City Monarchs, Homestead Grays, Chicago American Giants, New York Black Yankees, Dayton's very own Marcos and many others. Jerseys and dugout jackets will be on display Thursday February 23, 2012 and Friday February 24, 2012 from noon until 5 p.m. in Building 10, Room 10315.
