DAYTON, OH (09/13/10) – Sinclair Community College Dean Dave Collins has been elected to serve a two-year term as a Board Member At-Large with the National Network of Health Career Programs in Two-Year Colleges (NN2).

Dave Collins is Dean of the Division of Life and Health Sciences. He has 33 ye ars of health care experience in the clinical and educational settings, 15 of which have been as dean at Sinclair. He holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and an MS in Educational Administration from the University of Dayton, a BA in Management from the University of Redlands, and an AAS in Respiratory Therapy from Sinclair Community College. He is active in numerous health-related organizations at the local and regional levels.


NN2 is composed of health education leaders in two-year colleges across the country. The group strives to promote communication, collaboration, and innovation among health career programs in two-year colleges. Members look to create new leaders in health career education and further policies regarding health care education and higher education in general.

Collins will begin his two-year term following NN2’s Annual Meeting in Louisville from October 6-10, 2010.
