Sinclair Collecting Bottled Water to Send to Hurricane Area

Sinclair is all about people coming together to support the resolution of local and global challenges. We want to foster our students’ and community’s ability to help others that are in need.  In partnership with the Dayton Foodbank, Sinclair employees, students and the community are invited to donate cases of bottled water this week that will be transported to the areas affected by Hurricane Harvey.

A convenient drop-off station will be available at Building 12 in the circular driveway off of Perry Street and staffed during the following times:

  • Tuesday, August 29:  4:00-6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, August 30:  10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 4:00-6:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, August 31: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 4:00-6:00 p.m.
  • Friday, September 1:  8:00 a.m. – 12 Noon

In coordination with the Foodbank and Texas emergency response requests, we are accepting only cases of water at this time.  No other items can be accepted.

A semi-truck will hold 1056 cases of water, so that is the goal!  Thank you in advance for coming together to assist in our community’s response to those in need in Texas.
