Community Information

A community is an on-line presence within the portal that has the same functionality and tools as a course. Communities are used for campus groups such as student clubs, committees, departments, or teams. Through a community, these campus groups can utilize the same on-line functionality as a course; features such as discussion forum, email, chat, as well as other tools.
