Whatever the new title is – team leader, supervisor, manager, coordinator – that first step into a management role can be filled with a mix of excitement and trepidation. The skills one possesses as an individual contributor may land the promotion but will not necessarily lead to success in the new role. Being promoted from within and expected to lead former peers has a host of challenges than can strain even the most enthusiastic of new leaders.  The program is designed to prepare new and future leaders for a successful transition into their new role. Key topics include the 1) strategies for common situations new supervisors find themselves in, 2) understanding your personal style and flexing appropriately, 3) managing conflict and having difficult conversations, and 4) managing your time to excel in your new role.
