LexisNexis Academic is made available to faculty for course and assignment development.  There is a nice Introduction to LexisNexis Academic, which the company published on YouTube.

Films on Demand is a new resource this year. It consists of streaming videos in a multitude of subjects. You can put links or embed videos in Angel. Use this document to assist you.


 

Forms

Borrowing and Fines

  • Faculty loans for Sinclair books last for seventy days and up to three weeks for media depending on type.
  • Faculty loans for OhioLINK materials are limited to 3 weeks.
  • Faculty are subject to fines for overdue OhioLINK books.
  • Faculty who lose or fail to return borrowed materials when due will be required to pay the college for the lost item.

What are Reserves?
Course Reserves are a collection of materials not in general circulation, to be used for class assignments. Reserve materials are located behind the Circulation desk. You can search for Reserve materials by the Instructor's name or by course number

If you would like to place materials on reserve for your classes, please fill out this form and bring it and the books to the Service Desk in the Library.

Reference Assistance
Reference Librarians are ready to assist you one-on-one at a time that is convenient for you.  Contact the Reference Desk at ask@sinclair.libanswers.com or call 512-3004 to schedule an appointment. 

Library Liaisons
The library has liaisons assigned to most departments to assist them with procuring materials for the library's collection that support the curriculum. Liaisons can also help with research and instruction tailored to your class.
