Quick Search for articles:

Use this search box when you just want to find some articles with a simple keyword search. For more powerful searching, use the databases below.

The following general databases cover a wide range of subjects and provide full-text for many of the articles.  For a full list, use the OhioLINK Databases menu.  You can select the appropriate database by subjecttype, and name.

Off-campus access: You must show you are a current Sinclair student, staff, or faculty member by using your  Tartan Card number (all 9 digits) for authentication. 

Academic Search Complete  (on & off campus)  
Full-text coverage includes social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, arts, engineering, and medical sciences.

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center (on & off campus)
Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center draws on the social issues series published by Greenhaven Press, as well as core reference content from other Gale and Macmillan Reference USA sources to provide information on social issues. Access viewpoint articles, topic overviews, statistics, primary documents, links to websites, and full-text magazine and newspaper articles.  We have a short training video that shows how to use this database. MasterFILE Premier (on & off campus)
Excellent full text database for most general interest topics.  It includes articles, biographies, images, and primary source documents. Full Text.  (more...)

SIRS Researcher (off campus)  
SIRS = Social Issues Resources Series.  Full text of government publications and articles in periodicals and newspapers. Almanacs, country maps, and current news are also included.  This database is a good starting point for most topics.  Full Text.  (more...
