Use this search box when you just want to find some articles with a simple keyword search. For more powerful searching, use the databases below.

The following general databases cover a wide range of subjects and provide full-text for many of the articles.  For a full list, use the OhioLINK Databases menu.  You can select the appropriate database by subjecttype, and name.

Off-campus students and faculty: To use the following resources from off campus, you must have your Tartan Card number (all 9 digits) for authentication. If a databases has the words "off campus" next to the name, use that link to access it. Otherwise, just click on the name of the database. More information...


Academic Search Complete -Full-text coverage includes social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, arts, engineering, and medical sciences.  This is probably the best database to use if you aren't sure which one to pick. (more...)

Opposing Viewpoints In Context - Access viewpoint articles, topic overviews, statistics, primary documents, links to websites, and full-text magazine and newspaper articles.

 

MasterFILE Premier - Excellent full text database for most general interest topics.  It includes articles, biographies, images, and primary source documents. (more...)

 

SIRS Researcher (Off campus link) - SIRS = Social Issues Resources Series.  Full text of government publications and articles in periodicals and newspapers. Almanacs, country maps, and current news are also included.  This database is a good starting point for most topics. (more...)
