Advanced Technical Intelligence

Education is the Best Defense for Your Future!

Sinclair Community College’s Science, Mathematics and Engineering division offers a certificate program in advanced technical intelligence. This specialized program prepares you for intelligence job positions in intelligence-related defense industries.

Specifically, it was created to meet the needs of individuals who are currently working in or have had experience working within the intelligence industry, government and military.

This program might be for you if:

  • You are interested in the further your skills in areas of defense.
  • You currently work in the industry or government and would like to change career paths.
  • You would like to explore different defense and tactical methods and the science behind them.

 

Please Note: The advanced technical intelligence program is open only to United States citizens who can qualify and obtain necessary clearance.

Certificate Programs

Short Term Technical Certificates

Advanced Technical Intelligence, Level-I

The advanced technical intelligence certificate program is designed to impart special skills needed to work in the United States defense industry. This program works in partnership with the Advanced Technical Intelligence Center (ATIC) for Human Capital Development. Upon completion, students will have: an understanding of geophysical, materials, nuclear radiation and radio frequency; an understanding of various aspects of phenomenology of radar and non-imaging radar systems; and, a knowledge of collection and analysis methodology of intelligence community.

The courses for this certificate program are offered as part of an evening program at ATIC’s secure facility, located near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the Air Force Institute of Technology. Students interested in continuing their studies beyond the certificate program should know that an associate degree program can also be specifically designed for their individual needs. Associate of Technical Studies - Advanced Technical Intelligence

Advanced Technical Intelligence degree will prepare graduates to work in the defense related industry with background in Advanced Geospatial Intelligence (AGI) and Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT). It is also designed to meet the needs of individuals desiring to change career paths within the industry and government.

Articulation & Transfer Agreements

Sinclair works directly with many four-year schools in Ohio and beyond to ensure the college credit you earn will transfer easily to those schools. By developing articulation agreements, formal agreements between colleges detailing the recognition of college credit between the schools, you will know you are meeting the requirements needed at the four-year school of your choice. Ohio Transfer Module

The Associate of Arts and the Associate of Science degree programs fulfill the requirements for the Ohio Transfer Module at other public colleges and universities. Students in applied associate degree programs may complete some individual transfer module courses within their degree program or continue beyond their program to complete the entire transfer module.

Upon completion of the Ohio Transfer Module, students will be able to enter most Ohio four-year colleges and universities as a junior with your general education requirements completed. Find out more about the Ohio Transfer Module »
