Higher Education Symposium

This is the 9th year that Sinclair has presented a symposium on higher education issues for the community.

Speakers include J.D. Vance, author of the New York Times #1 best seller Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis; Freeman Hrabowski, Ph.D., President, University of Maryland, Baltimore County and author of Holding Fast to Dreams, Empowering Youth from the Civil Rights Crusade to STEM Achievement; and Journalists Paul Fain, News Editor, Inside Higher Ed, and Karin Fischer, Senior Reporter, The Chronicle for Higher Education, who will hold a panel discussion on Federal Policy in Higher Education.

The event is the first part of the two-day Sinclair Advance, an annual gathering of community leaders and Board of Trustees members that helps set the coming year’s agenda.
