The Financial Aid & Scholarships office will communicate with students via their my.sinclair email account and with the Financial Aid Portal on WebAdvisor. Every student automatically has a my.sinclair email account after their application for admission is processed. The Financial Aid & Scholarships office will use this email account to notify students of updates regarding their financial aid and should be checked regularly.
At any time, a student may access WebAdvisor to review the progress of their financial aid application, required documents and financial aid awards. Student account information is available on WebAdvisor under the Student Finance menu. New students will receive a letter with their username and password for WebAdvisor and their my.sinclair email.
The default login credentials are:
Username: firstname.lastname (sometimes followed by numbers).
Password: Pass and the last four numbers of the student's Social Security number (Pass4517).
The Financial Aid Self-Service User Guide is a detailed resource that provides steps on how to access your financial aid information through WebAdvisor. You can view Financial Aid TV videos for information about managing your student finances, financial aid, payment options, registration and your academic profile. There is also a Financial Aid TV video that shows you how to use the Student Finance Tool in WebAdvisor. This tool makes reading your term balances easier.
