The fourth annual “A Vintage Affair” wine tasting, held on Friday, September 17, brought in a great mix of donors, staff, faculty and alumni.
This year’s event, hosted by the alumni association, focused on “a pairing of wine and good company.” Over 400 people attended the event and mixed and mingled while enjoying delicious food and wine.
For the first time, the event featured several sponsors. They including:
· Presenting level sponsor – The Ruhlin Company
· Food Sponsors – Fifth Third Bank, Ferguson Construction Company and Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP
The event raised more than $15,000 which will be used primarily for scholarships for students. New to this year’s event was the “Wall of Wine.” Attendees were able to purchase chances to for a bottle of wine ranging in value from $15-60 for $15 a ticket. The wall sold out of wine by the end of the evening.
“It was an elegant and relaxing evening. The wine was perfect, the music was divine, and the food was heavenly. I look forward to attending next year!” said Judy Hill, an attendee.
