An invitation to graduating high-school seniors and PSEO students

The Sinclair Honors Program is always looking for new or first-quarter applicants.  During your first quarter in college, you are bombarded with a lot of new and confusing information, and you might not even hear about the Honors Program.  But the fact is, the summer before your first quarter is the best time to apply!  Honors Scholars must complete five Honors courses during their time at the college, and you may only be here for six or seven quarters altogether.  Many sequential Honors courses (such as English 111-112-113, History 111-112-113) can be entered only in Fall quarter.  If you start out this fall in one of these courses, you are already ahead of the game.  You can apply to become an Honors Scholar even before the school year starts, although the Honors Council will not formally accept you until after you are enrolled.  Then, of course, you will be eligible to apply for Academic Excellence Scholarships and for other Honors experiences like Phi Theta Kappa and Service Learning.
