Surgical Technology

Sinclair Community College surgical technology graduates have made it to the spotlight. These graduates have once again surpassed national averages on certification exams. The most recent class of graduates scored 11th in the nation on the Program Assessment Exam—an exam required for accreditation.

Recently, this same class has a 100 percent pass rate on certification exam putting them above the national average pass rate of only 66 percent.

"These results are indicative of our faculty and staff's dedication to the success of our students," said Dean of Life and Health Sciences at Sinclair Community College. "Our continued commitment to strengthening the Surgical Technology program has placed us on the Program Assessment Exam Elite Top Twenty programs in the nation."

Sinclair's Surgical Technology program has on average 35–40 students enrolled in the program.
