Richmond Residents Benefit from Recent Tuition Agreement Signed by Ohio Chancellor
Eaton, OH – Residents of Indiana can now pay Ohio tuition rates at the new Sinclair Preble County Learning Center. Located 15 minutes from the Indiana-Ohio border, the Preble County Learning Center is the newest branch of Sinclair Community College.

Sinclair will charge in-state tuition rates to all residents of Indiana who enroll and satisfy all regular admission requirements with the exception of students majoring in certain allied health programs. The collaboration was made possible by a Tuition Reciprocity Agreement signed by Ohio Board of Regents Chancellor Eric Fingerhut in July.

Academic programs at the center will focus on general education and programs designed for a seamless transfer to a four-year university. Courses in English, math, psychology, communications, accounting and personal computing are some of the courses being offered.

Onsite student services such as academic advising, placement testing, financial aid, and career services will be available for students at the center, eliminating the need to drive to the Dayton campus to access those important student services.

The Preble County Learning Center is set to open this fall with classes starting September 9. The center is adjacent to the Preble County YMCA in Eaton and was created in partnership with the Preble County Youth Foundation.

Registration for fall classes is going on now.
