Fairborn Wins Sinclair Spirit Contest
Fairborn High School won this year’s Sinclair Spirit Contest and was honored Friday, December 10 during a varsity basketball game. Fairborn was presented with a trophy, banner, Flip Video Mino and a spirited ceremony. News Center 7 Sports Director Mike Hartsock, along with Sinclair’s mascot, presented the trophy to Fairborn High School students.
For the Sinclair Spirit Contest, area high school students were asked to create videos capturing the unique spirit of their school. The videos were entered into a contest in which the general public voted for the most spirited video. More than 8000 votes, from 27 states and 3 countries, were cast. Fairborn High School received the most votes. Piqua and West Carrollton High Schools were both finalists.
Congratulations to Fairborn, Piqua and West Carrollton High Schools!
