Mathematics Colloquium Coming to Sinclair

DAYTON, OH (01/31/11) -- The Sinclair Community College Mathematics Department will hold its annual Mathematics Department Colloquiumon Friday, February 11.

The colloquium will be from 2:30-4:00 p.m. in Room 1001, on the lower level of Building 1.

There will be two speakers at the event: Kinga Oliver, assistant professor of mathematics at Sinclair who will be discussing "Math Education from a Polish Perspective" and Dr. David Freeman, assistant professor of mathematics at University of Cincinnati who will be discussing "Nice Distortions of Euclidean Space: How Nice Are They?"
