Cuba Gooding Jr encourages voting
10/06/2008
Several hundred Sinclair students, faculty, staff and visitors were drawn to the Sinclair Library this morning to see Academy Award winning actor Cuba Gooding, Jr., and to hear his “get out and vote” message. During his brief remarks, the actor encouraged everyone to register to vote and to vote if they are already registered. Today is the deadline in Ohio to register to vote in the November 4 election.
Following his brief remarks, Cuba led dozens of Sinclair students across West Third Street to the Montgomery County Board of Elections. He was greeted outside the Montgomery County Administration building by Sinclair graduate and Board of Elections Director Steve Harsman.
