Women’s Volleyball Tops University of Findlay

Dayton, OH – Sinclair(14-13/6-4) Women’s Volleyball team hosted The University of Findlay JV squad this evening at home.

The Pride began the evening taking the first game 25-22, in a game that changed leads several times. The win put The Pride up 1-0 and would set the tone for the rest of the evening. Sinclair would take game two 25-16, struggle in the third and drop that game to the Oilers 19-25. In game four it was all Sinclair, 25-18 to end the match and secure the win.

The Pride are on an eight game win streak, the longest of the season and improve their record to 14-13 overall and remain 6-4 in the OCCAC, heading into a critical OCCAC match with Edison College on Tuesday.

Sinclair -vs- Findlay (3-1) : 25-22, 25-16, 19-25, 25-18.

Rebecca Ayers (Eaton) had 21 assists and Abigail Schlater (Tri-County North) had 23 digs and 18 kills.

The Sinclair Women’s team will return to action at home on Saturday, October 23 as they take on Indiana Tech. Game time is 1:30 PM on the campus of Sinclair Community College in the Physical Activities Center located in Building 8.
