Baseball Drops Game Against Heidelberg JV
The record amount of rain this spring continued Monday at Athletes in Action as Heidelberg came into town for a doubleheader. With the weather turning sour, the teams were only able to get one game in. The Heidelberg offense came ready to play as they exploded for eight runs in the first two innings off Pride starter Corey Johnson. Ian Creager could not stop the bleeding either as he allowed four more in the 3rd. The only offense production the Pride could get all day came off the bat of Kyle Vander Ark, who hit a two run blast in the 3rd.
Final Score: Heidelberg 12 Sinclair 2
LP: Johnson 4-2
Offensive Leaders: Kyle Vander Ark 2-2 BB HR 2 RBI's, Marcus Heath 2-3 RS.
