TRAFFIC ADVISORY – Oct. 12, 2010:
According to the City of Dayton, the repaving project of Third and Perry Streets, surrounding the Dayton Campus, will continue throughout the day tomorrow, October 13. As a result, the traffic will again be limited to one lane, causing likely back-ups especially on Third St. from I-75.

PLEASE CONSIDER USING AN ALTERNATE ROUTE TOMORROW, OCT. 13, 2010. Much of the downtown area is simultaneously being repaved. Below are several suggestions for your morning travel:

• I-75 FROM THE NORTH: Take the Webster St. Exit (before downtown) to Webster St. Go right on Monument. Take Monument across downtown to Perry. Left on Perry to campus. (Please note that First and Second Streets are also being repaved.)

• I-75 FROM THE SOUTH: Take US 35 East to Jefferson St./Main St. Exit. Go right on Jefferson to Fourth St. Take a left on Fourth St. to campus.

The repaving contractor is planning to complete its work on Third and Perry Streets by the end of the day tomorrow and normal traffic conditions are expected for Thursday, October 14.
