Two Big Wins at Vincennes Extends Baseball Winning Streak to Thirteen

In game one, the Pride gave the ball to Jacob Robinson. Robinson, in a rematch of last seasons Region 12 Semi-Final, continued his dominance over Blazer hitters going 5+ innings only allowing one run. Robinson left the game with the lead after two RBI's from Zach Stewart, one in the first inning and then a solo home run in the 3rd. Chuck Calhoun entered the 6th inning with one out & a man on first. After a flyball out to rightfield, Calhoun struck out the final hitter of the inning to keep the score at 2-1. In the 7th Calhoun would strike out two more to get the save.

Austin Pressly started game two for the Pride & got all the run support that he would need. In the top of the 2nd the Tartans batted around scoring eight runs and never looked back. In the 4th, Byron Johann added on a few more with a towering three run home run to leftfield. Pressly went six strong innings allowing four runs (three earned) and Chris Bruckman pitched the 7th inning.

Sinclair will host the reigning National Champions Parkland College tomorrow at Athletes in Action at 2pm. This game has been changed to a one nine inning contest.
