Sinclair Plays Host to Senior Olympics
Senior Olympics

Sinclair hosted part of the 2010 Dayton/Miami Valley Senior Olympics. Over 150 athletes compete in several fields. Sinclair hosted the volleyball, badminton, and swimming competitions.

Many physical education students as well as student athletes helped with the events. There are many events in a 2-3 week period.

Athletes must qualify in these local events in order move on to the state and then the national event. There are over 15 events total. The event is made possible thanks primarily to donations and local sponsors like Miami Valley Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Atrium Medical Center, Upper Valley Medical Center, and other smaller organizations.
