Baseball Wins 6 Games in 3 Days

Dayton, OH – Sinclair (27-12/7-3) Baseball had an impressive three day run over Easter weekend winning 6 games.

The Pride opened the Holiday weekend Thursday by winning two close games against Vincennes University. Pulling out a 3-2 victory in game one with a walk-off double from Chayse Hood (Eaton H.S./Eaton, OH) the Pride got the weekend off to an exciting start. Game two was more of the same as the Pride used a late rally to secure a 3-1 win and a double-header sweep of Vincennes. The games were played at Time Warner Field on the University of Dayton campus.

Sinclair entered the weekend home and home series with OCCAC foe Lorain Co. CC with an 8-3 win. The Pride took early control of game two winning 11-0 and finished off the visitors before heading to Elyria, Oh for the return double-header.

After handling Lorain at home on Friday, the Pride traveled to Lorain for a Saturday double-header to finish out the series. Both games were really over before they even started as the Pride won both games 17-0 and 19-0. Sinclair dominated Lorain during the four game series with three shut outs and an offensive explosion scoring 55 runs while only giving up 3.

Sinclair will returns to action this Tuesday as they travel to Tiffin, OH for a non-conference double-header with Heidelberg University JV. OCCAC play resumes Wednesday as the Pride heads back up I-75 for a rescheduled double-header with Owens CC.

All home games are played at Grady's Field at Athletes in Action in Xenia.
