The sun was out in West Virginia and the Pride bats were on fire all weekend. In the three game series the offense scored 26 runs (Only two in game two,) on 34 hits while also hitting five home runs. In the field the Tartans committed only one error & the bullpen threw 8 1/3 scoreless innings while only allowing three hits.
In game one, Zach Botjer took the mound looking to make his 4th quality start. Zach Stewart started the scoring for the Pride in the 1st with a two run bomb to left-center. However in the bottom half of the inning Botjer ran into all sorts of problems giving up four runs on five hits. Sinclair had the answer though in the top of the 2nd when second basemen Arthur Dockery hit his first collegiate home run that plated Napier & tied the game. Botjer pitched a scoreless 2nd but ran into more trouble in the 3rd and was lifted in the 4th after a leadoff single. Chuck Calhoun came into the ballgame and continued his dominance over opponents throwing four scoreless innings & getting his second win of the season. Going into the top of the 6th the game was tied at 7 when Brandon Napier hit his first home run to left to break the tie. After three consecutive singles from Dockery, Clay Ragland, & Tom McCowan, Stewart delivered the knockout blow with a bases clearing triple.

Following an offensive shootout where each team had double digit hits, game two was all about pitching. Jeremiah Kerns took the ball for the Pride and went all the way to the 6th inning only giving up one run. That run was a solo home run in the 2nd which gave Potomac State the lead. That lead didn't last long though because in the top of the 3rd Zach Stewart had another big two out hit to score Arthur Dockery from 2nd. The game remained tied heading into the 7th inning when Stewart doubled with one out. Marrero then hit a ground ball to the right side advancing Stewart to 3rd and with two outs Throckmorton hit a chopper up the middle that the second basemen would field but was unable to make a strong throw to 1st base. Pride closer Matt Addis came into the game in the 6th inning and picked up his second win of the season striking out two in the 7th.
