Dayton, OH – Sinclair (8-13/4-4) Women’s Volleyball won 3-2 in OCCAC play Saturday against visiting Lakeland (8-14/2-4).

Sinclair opened up the game with the serve and before Lakeland could manage a side out, the Pride was up 8-0 and went on the win game one 25-8

The visiting Lakers tried to make a comeback in game two and kept it close until Sinclair went on a scoring run and won going away 25-13.

Games three and four the Lakers did mount an inspired comeback charge to take both games and even the match at 2-2

The fifth and deciding game was all Sinclair as the Pride took an early lead and never let up.

Sinclair –vs- Lakeland CC (3-2) 25-8, 25-13, 21-25, 19-25, 15-6

Sinclair (8-13/4-4) will continue the home stand Wednesday as the Pride take on Miami University-Middletown at 6:00pm
