Dayton, OH – Sinclair Women’s Tennis earns NJCAA Region XII Championships at #1 Singles and #1 Doubles.
After a long season of completion against more experienced 4 year players, Sinclair finally had an opportunity to square off against other Community College opponents this weekend.
Right from the start, Tory Painter locked in and started her quest for a Region Championship at the #1 Singles position. Painter won all three of her matches, showing why she was undoubtedly one of the best players in the region this fall.
Painter and her doubles partner, Karen Haviland enjoyed the same success at the #1 Doubles position as Tory earned at singles. Painter/Haviland also won a Region Championship by winning all three matches.
The Sinclair Women’s Tennis team will now take some time off as they get ready for their spring season and a trip to the NJCAA Division I Nation Championships, May 6-13 in Tucson, AZ.
