Dayton Arts Project to Visit Sinclair

Sinclair Theatre collaborates with The Dayton Arts Project for an innovative and cutting-edge artists’ exhibit premiering in Blair Hall Theatre August 5-6. Take in different mediums of creativity from visual artwork to mixed media, live music and dance.

Among the Dayton natives who will be featured:

•Ashley Sass – the national award-winning choreographer will present her work "Momentum".

•Damon Sink – NEW live music, NEW media – a collaboration with interdisciplinary artist (and Sinclair adjunct faculty), Rodney Veal.

•Ben Quinn – 5 NEW large works using mixed media: acrylic, spray paint, gloss medium, water.

•Rodney Veal – NEW media, NEW choreography – on inner vs. outer perceptions.

•Tom Watson – Stem/ReAssemblage: a deeply personal series using recycled materials – symbolizing his reassignment of once damaged and useless brain synapses, a result of a brain stem stroke, to reconnect in a new way to be useful and functioning once again.

The Dayton Arts Project exists to help restore and maintain Dayton's reputation as a leader in creating and presenting modern and relatable world premiere works. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for students and are available in advance at: sinclair.edu/arts.
