Dayton, OH- Sinclair Community College in partnership with Deloitte & Touche will host "Investing in the Future", a program targeted at Dayton- area high school students to promote the accounting profession on Thursday, November 6.

The event gives students an opportunity to hear from local Deloitte & Touche professionals about potential careers in finance, in addition to experiencing the industry firsthand. Students will participate in a portfolios investment simulation game, which includes making basic investment decisions in a retirement plan.

The facilitator of the event is Stuart Crickmer of Accounting for Kids. The event will be in Sinclair's Sports Entertainment Center in Building 8. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., and the program begins at 9:15.

Sinclair has already received requests from more than 130 high school students from more than 15 different schools.
