Cedarville, Ohio-The Lady Tartans earned their sixth victory on the season after defeating Cedarville 82-49. Cedarville led 6-5 at the 18:00 mark but Sinclair went on a 5-0 run to take a 10-5 lead then never looked back. Sinclair's defensive pressure caused havoc on the Lady Jackets but held a slim 19-11 lead at the 10:00 mark. The Lady Tartans started to execute better and went on a 24-8 run to end the half to hold the 43-19 advantage at halftime. The second half brought more of the same for both teams. Sinclair got their second victory over Cedarville with the 82-49 win.

Sinclair had two players with double-doubles on the evening. Emily Frey (FR/Versailles) had 16 points and 11 rebounds and Jessic Pierre (SO/Tipp City) had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Jessice Plummer (FR/Tipp City) added 15 points while Jana Gross (SO/Bellbrook) had four 3-point goals to add 12 points.

Also contributing were Chelcie Gullett (SO/Xenia) with 8 points, Shannon Campbell (FR/Miamisburg) with 7 points, Haleigh Hickenbottom (FR/West Liberty Salem) with 5 points and 5 assists, Jessica Myers (SO/Springfield South) with 4 points, and Shelby Pettit (FR/Brookville) with 3 points.

Sinclair now stands 6-1 on the season. They will travel to Schoolcraft (MI) for a tournament on Friday and Saturday. They will face Schoolcraft on Friday evening who are currently ranked #2 in the nation.
