Campus to offer Wilmington College courses starting fall of ‘08

MASON, Ohio (07/21/08) – Sinclair Courseview in Mason has signed an agreement with Wilmington College to offer classes at the Courseview Campus Center this fall. This partnership is similar to recent agreements made with the University of Cincinnati, Miami University, Wright State University and the University of Dayton.

Through its Cincinnati Branch in Blue Ash, Wilmington College will offer upper division courses leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration at Courseview. Sinclair Community College students who have completed the A.S. in Business Administration or the A.A.S. in Business Management or Marketing Management will be able to seamlessly transfer their courses into Wilmington’s program.

Sinclair Courseview will be offering more than 120 course sections during fall quarter 2008, and has met enrollment goals for its first three quarters. The campus also provides access to baccalaureate and graduate level programs and courses in Warren County thanks to agreements like these with University partners.

“Sinclair and Wilmington College will provide even greater convenience and access for Warren County students,” said George Sehi, executive dean of Sinclair Courseview.

Iris Kelsen, Vice President for External Programs at Wilmington College, noted that this is a win-win situation for both colleges. She stated that, “Wilmington and Sinclair have much in common and have worked well together throughout the years. We both strive to provide a high quality education in a learner centered environment.” Kelsen added, “We are excited about the opportunity to partner with Sinclair and extend our Cincinnati outreach to Warren County.”
